Below, extract from the book “10 years of automobile sport in Morocco ” by Jean-Fraçois Klein :

At the checker flag, Barbey starts like a missile.
During 6 laps, he will lead until crashing bales of straw which will cost him more than a minute before going back on the track.
At the 7th lap, Ciancanelli on Alfa Roméo is leading.
Clément on DKW left the road at the 9th lap.
At the 15th lap, the successive abandonments of Maurice Gaillard and Bernadette De Chalençon occur.
At the 19th lap, Salama on MG stops the race.
At the 20th lap the favorite Barbey give up whereas it had made up for its lost time.
At the 22nd lap, Vernier, Montalbano, Berthommier and Gaillard do not continue the race any more. Whereas Clément restarts from the pits after repairing his car.
From this moment positions remain thus: 1st Ciancanelli - 2nd Heyder – 3rd Kerguen – 4th Benchaya - Martinez and so on.
“Until the end, stops are still numerous, but the general opinion is the cars held than provided for better. Let us announce the perfect races of the five first which, with more 80 mph of average, kept their position during two hours.”
